North Las Vegas detectives say the three teens are responsible for the shooting death of 16-year-old Donald Troutman on May 26th in the 5100 block of Cross Ranch Street.

The suspects are 17-year-old Sean Hall, 18-year-old Quinten White and 19-year-old Soloman White. Police say they should be considered armed and dangerous.

LAS VEGAS -- This Thursday marks four years since the disappearance of Everlyse Cabrera. The two-year-old went missing from her North Las Vegas foster home.

Though a legal battle over her loss has yet to be resolved in its entirety, one piece of it promises to impact the lives of other at risk kids.

This year, a scholarship in Everlyse's memory will soon be announced to benefit other foster kids.

Everlyse disappeared June 10, 2006. According to her foster parents, Everlyse used a stool to unlock the front door and disappear into the night.

A lawsuit brought by Everlyse's biological parents against her foster parents, Manny and Vhee Carrascall, and against Clark County, resulted in a $300,000 settlement, the bulk of which is still in dispute.

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - North Las Vegas Police are looking for leads regarding the location of a convenience store robber, whom they believe could become increasingly violent.

His crime was caught on surveillance tape. The video shows the suspect brandishing his weapon and threatening the life of a convenience store clerk. 'He's very aggressive with the gun,' said North Las Vegas Police Sgt. Tim Bedwell. 'We're very concerned about the potential for more violence.'

Bedwell says his department's robbery detectives want to get this robber behind bars before he takes his crime to the next level. 'Our concern is the people who are doing these armed robberies tend to get more violent each time,' Bedwell said. 'There's a chance that, in this case, we may see the same kind of thing we saw in March, where we had a robbery of a 7-11, and the same person came back a week later and murdered the clerk.'

NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. - With candles in hand and tears flowing, more than 100 relatives and friends gathered to remember 16-year-old Donald Troutman.

Troutman was gunned down in the middle of a North Las Vegas street Wednesday evening. Witnesses say the shooting was the result of a fight. Now, his family struggles to cope with this sudden and devastating loss.

'He was there for me no matter what, through thick and thin,' said Troutman's sister Willesha Jackson. 'I loved him so much.' 'He was a good person,' said friend Darey Wesley. 'He was always smiling and always uplifting people.' 'For the family, they need this. This is the beginning of the healing process,' a family friend said.

NORTH LAS VEGAS -- A 16-year-old who was shot and killed Wednesday night has been identified and police have stepped up patrols near where the murder occurred.

The teen, who has been identified as Donald Troutman, was shot in the middle of the street at Washburn and North 5th. Police have released few details in the shooting but say the suspect or suspects are still on the loose. While police have not indicated if the shooting was gang related, friends and family say it wasn't.

'This was no gang related shooting or anything like that. This was a very special person to a lot of people and for something like this to happen. it's ridiculous,' said Kevin, a family friend who asked that his last name not be used.

LAS VEGAS -- Police are creating car accidents at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway. No one has been hurt. It's all part of a crash conference being held Monday.

The conference helps police departments analyze speed, driver attention and other factors that lead to accidents and looks at ways to prevent them.

There have been cars crashing into each other and motorcycles crash into cars, all to help law enforcement learn how to investigate crashes. That analysis can be the difference between guilty and innocent.

'On the criminal side, you want to make sure if you're ascertaining somebody for a misdemeanor or felony prosecution that you've dialed in who's at fault correctly, as well as if someone was going too fast or too slow,' said Officer Jim Byrne with the North Las Vegas Police.

LAS VEGAS -- Is Las Vegas safer? A new FBI report says yes. But ask people out in the community and they say no.

The report, rating everything from murder and rape to property crime, was compiled by law enforcement agencies around the country with information submitted for 2009. But it's 2010, a time where our economy is tough and people are getting desperate. Police say the crime numbers paint a picture of the past and they expect incidents to actually go up.

John Perdichizzi has a problem with crime. He captured it on his security cameras and believes it's happening a lot more often. He blames the economy. The latest figures show crime is down across the board. But Perdichizzi says the report tells an incomplete story.

'Those are the reported crimes. Maybe they should be more specific and say reported crimes have gone down because I think a lot of them aren't reported,' he said.
