  2. Casinos are casinos, we left some $$ behind LOL. Table limits seemed appropriate ($10) and a large variety of slots. We had last visited Biloxi pre-Katrina and the Palace is the one place we felt has significantly improved since then.

A while back, Gene Simmons told us about some prospective business deals he was working on, proving that he has many other interests beyond being a bassist in a legendary rock band: 'There's some real estate deals in China. There are eight different projects -- one is a 55-story skyscraper, a theme park, and lots of other stuff; a cable television network; some stocks. I mean, I can't be too specific about this stuff, but there's a lot of big stuff, any one of which could make Kiss, the entire entity, look like a popcorn fart -- but would be nowhere near as much fun.'

Guitarist Tommy Thayer gave an update on the upcoming definitive Kiss documentary tentatively due out in 2021. Thayer told Sweden's RockSverige.se, 'I think we're at least halfway into it. The director is John Dorsey and he's done great things before. We've done interviews on camera and he's putting together a lot of historic footage and talking to a lot of different sources, including us and our archives. It's coming along. I've seen a little bit and I think it will be really exciting and really well done.'

Thayer explained that the doc is featuring unique fan sourced footage as well as deep dives from the Kiss vaults: 'We have a lot of great stuff in our archives for certain, but there's still a lot of other unique and rare stuff out there that we don't have. It's a matter of sourcing that stuff.'

Paul Stanley told us he's amazed at how quickly the time has flown since the band started: 'It really has gone by in the blink of an eye. It's staggering to have all the excitement, and the challenges, the victories, the soap operas -- everything. And yet it seems, y'know, like the blink of an eye.'
